Road Trip Uganda – Explore The Gems Of The Pearl Of Africa

Is a road trip the best way to explore the gems of Uganda?, it may be a yes or a no depending on your own views. However it is a yes because a road trip gives travelers a chance to visit more than one destinations of Uganda.

The pearl of Africa is a hidden gem in the heart of East Africa and it protects over 1000 species of birds and allows visitors to trek the endangered mountain gorillas and chimpanzees which are the closest relatives to human beings. And its national parks inhabit unique features to offer to the guests such as the big 5 mammals, antelopes, warthogs, cheetah, hippos, Zebras, Giraffes and many others. Due to a number of features and attractions in Uganda, it is ranked a safe top rated destination in the world.

A road trip in Uganda; for instance in the south west allows you to experience astonishing variety of wildlife, rolling hills and sweeping landscapes and the friendliest people in the world. It is better to hire a car and driver in order to enjoy well your road trip in Uganda, like you concentrate more on the attractions on the way. And a road trip in Uganda allows travelers to experience vast national parks, scenic lakes, wildlife reserves, volcanic mountains and many others.

As Uganda is termed the pearl of Africa, It is designed with attractions on the way, so on the road trip you have a chance to have a stopover at any spot and concentrate to sight the birds, wildlife and many other features. For example on the way to kibale national park, travelers stop primates such as black and white colobus monkeys, plus birds like long crested eagles, Turacos and many others.

Road trips in Uganda allow travelers to taste the delicious foods of Uganda and also travelers get excitement because of the new surroundings and frequent wildlife stops made during their trip. During the road trip, one gets a lot of time since they are in control of their own departure time, arrival time and also the stops along the way.

A road trip to Queen Elizabeth National park exposes travelers to the wonders of the park like the game drive where travelers get close to the wildlife in the park such as lions, Elephants, antelopes, buffaloes, warthogs and many others. Then the boat cruise on Kazinga channel brings you close to the school of hippos, reptiles and some birds in the area.

The road trip in Uganda is spiced up by having some fresh fruits that are brought from the road side of different roads, fruits like mangos, pineapples and many others. These fruits are delicious and they are ripe.

All the roads to different destinations in Uganda have a number of attractions to offer to travelers who decide to undertake different overland trips in this scenic nation, such as the incredible views, incredible farm lands, water bodies, wildlife, waterfalls, friendly people and so many others.

It’s only on a road trip where travelers sight the unique and rare wildlife of Uganda like the cheetahs, climbing lions, ostrich, endangered mountain gorillas and many others.

Therefore, a road trip is the best way to explore the gems of Uganda.
