Hire a car in a group

Hiring your 4×4 WD for a self-drive safari trips in a group of two or more helps to share some common expenses, for instance the cost of renting a car is shared among group members, fuel costs any kind of repair, even camping materials are shared. However, every number of  members a group calls for a separate amount and the larger the group the higher the costs of renting comfortable and fitting for a group but still remains cheaper just because cost are shared. The simple the smallest 4×4 tourist safari rented car can accommodate a maximum of 3 people than hiring it alone costs can pooled with other members.

Whenever looking forward to save more for self-drive trip in Africa particularly in Uganda, then mobilize about three to ten members this will not only make your trip more enjoyable but also keep spending less and getting superb safari experience.

Spend more days with the hired car

Looking for discounts, many car hire companies write about discount coupon on their websites which on many occasions in unrealistic. The only common way you can have discount with car hire companies is spending more days with the car, spending about 5 and above, it doesn’t guarantee but request there higher chances of lowering the car rental cost.

Use affordable cars

Driving to African wildness on a self-drive can be scarily especially during rainy seasons for first time travelers to Africa, and you may desire to hire a strong and large 4×4 self-drive vehicle think of a jeep or land cruiser which may look to be more expensive than the other smaller 4×4 WD.

For our case, we focus on perfect services to our client and taking a smaller 4X4WD Toyota RAV4 on any safari adventure in Uganda rewards with an excellent experience. These are stronger 4x4WD vehicle that can cruise to any of your safari destinations around the country.

Hire your vehicle in advance

Hire your self-drive car in Uganda you save more when book in advance than hiring on spot and in panic the same day when you need a car. The mystery behind this, you have enough time to negotiate with several car hire companies until you get the one with cheaper costs. Also avoid renting a car on your arrival at the airport they are more expensive than any other car hire companies that are scattered around the country.

Ask for discounts

When contacting and comparing car hire companies, negotiate for the favorable and cheaper car hire deals, you ask for the real hire quotations and inquire if they can offer on discount, because of competition in car hire business many will lower their prices to beat their competitors. Just make your request rolling for better rates.

Don’t pay for insurances you don’t need

You bought your travel insurance when coming to Uganda, so when renting a car do continue buying unnecessary insurances like border insurances and any of its kind. The rented car already is comprehensively covered and valid car tourist license, you have to ensure that from the hiring company.
