Is There an Upper Age Limit for Uganda Car Hire?

July 17, 2019by admin0 comments

Is there an Upper age Limit?

Have you ever asked yourself if there is an upper age limit for car rental? If you are planning to rent a car for your vacation in Uganda or Rwanda, you will notice that some car rental companies set a maximum age for car hire. Whereas there are more travelers who come for African safaris, there are still some areas where age has become limiting factor to some other interested visitors. Most of these challenges are faced while renting a car for a vacation in one of the car hire companies. In many occasions, most travelers are left stranded especially the old brackets as they are looked at as very old to rent a car.

However, you can save up to 10 percent on car rentals during your vacation in Africa. Insurance agencies set an ultimate age for car hire and this always lies within 70 or 75. Various car hire agencies have different insurance providers and the only way that you will know about this is when you are accepted to drive off in that specific booked car rental, is if you inquired about age limit before for your vacation. Other car rentals can as well inquire for doctor’s note prior traveling.

Most car rentals in Uganda pay attention to age limit, wisdom and driving experience given that these factors ensure safety of travelers while in the new destination. This comes with some discounts and incentives that clients enjoy. Where there is no upper age limit for car rental, clients can enjoy 10 percent discount and a free additional driver.

In conclusion, if you are planning to rent a car for your vacation in Uganda or Rwanda, note that there is specific age limit attached if you are to embark on a self drive adventure.
